The ICCEC 2021 Organizing Committee is cognisant of the challenges being experienced by delegates, colleagues and friends in regions of the world affected by the Coronavirus Outbreak. Our airports are screening incoming passengers and our hospitals remain on high alert.
In keeping with WHO guidance, all measures will be implemented to ensure the highest levels of hygiene at the conference venue and hotel. There will be hand sanitizing stations in all venues, more frequent cleaning of conference rooms, restrooms and door handles. We will maintain a handshake free policy.
South African borders are now open for travel. The South African Government has issued a list of high risk countries Please click here for the latest list.
We look forward to seeing you in Cape Town soon and will monitor the situation.
Delegates are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from the conference. All costs incurred will be for your own account.
Most international flights connect to Cape Town via O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, although a number of direct flights from Europe are also available.
All delegates from outside Africa are encouraged to take an inter-continental flight directly into Cape Town or Johannesburg on well-known carriers or their alliance partners. Due to recent developments, we advise delegates not to book via South African Airways (SAA).
If you are landing in Johannesburg and then connecting to Cape Town please collect your luggage there, clear customs and check it in again for your flight to Cape Town.
